It's a fair question. Ordering frozen food online isn't like ordering a book. Temperature, timing and packaging all matter. Here's how it works, and how to make sure every order arrives the way it should.

❄️ Step 1: Understand How Frozen Delivery Works

Good frozen food brands pack orders in insulated boxes with ice packs and keep transit time short. At WOWSHI, every order is packed frozen in an insulated box with ice packs.

📦 Step 2: Know What to Look For in the Packaging

• Insulated liner: foam or reflective foil that holds the temperature
• Ice packs: should still be cold or partly frozen on arrival
• Sealed inner packaging: protects against freezer burn
• A sturdy outer box: not a flimsy mailer

🗓️ Step 3: Mind the Day of the Week

A package sitting in a warm warehouse over a weekend is a recipe for disappointment. That's why WOWSHI sends orders out Monday to Wednesday only. Orders placed Thursday to Sunday go out the following Monday.

Make sure someone can bring the box inside quickly. Don't let a frozen order sit on a porch in Texas heat.

1. Open the box right away and check that everything is still frozen
2. Move everything to your freezer immediately
3. Do not refreeze anything that has fully thawed
4. Keep items sealed until you cook them; WOWSHI products cook straight from frozen
5. If anything arrives thawed or damaged, contact us within 48 hours with photos
